Great ideas! I am shopping today for the Big Event and needed some healthy suggestions. I'm not a fish fan so I'll use chicken, but I really like the taco bar idea. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSuper, Beth. Your fans will be thrilled.
ReplyDeletemmmm I LOVE hummus! Any brands I should be aware of that aren't as good for you? Lately I've been making wraps with hummus instead of the mayo or whatever sauce I'd used before! So good! -Sara
ReplyDeleteSara, as I always say, read the label and decide. Watch for too many additives and corn syrup. Generally I like the Sabra brand. Besides for dipping, Hummus is great for spreading on sandwiches and wraps as you have discovered. Mmmmm good!
ReplyDeleteChris, you made the table look very inviting. My daughter, Janell, always has a Super Bowl party. I'm sending her this link. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue. I hope she gets some ideas.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! You have inspired us to do fish tacos tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite healthy appetizer is some swiss chard or kale sauteed in oil and garlic, then add a can of organic white beans with liquid and let cook a bit. Season with s&P and add some red pepper for heat and YUM! Serve with whatever or just eat!
Hope you are well. Carrie.
I'm happy to hear that, Carrie. And thanks for your recipe, I'll put that on the site. Do you have a name for it?
